Tips for printing

How do I create a QR code for WhatsApp?

How do I get my WhatsApp QR code?

WhatsApp has its own QR code built in. In WhatsApp, open Settings and tap the QR icon next to your name. In the WhatsApp Business app, open the menu and tap the QR icon next to your business name. This generator does a different job: it encodes a wa.me link, so you can pre-fill a message and make a code for any number you control.

Is the WhatsApp QR code generator free?

Can I add a pre-filled message to a WhatsApp QR code?

Can I add a logo or change the colors?

Do WhatsApp QR codes expire, and can I track scans?

The code stores a plain wa.me link, so it does not expire. It also does not count scans, because nothing passes through a tracking server. If you need scan statistics you need a QR service that redirects through its own link.

How do I print a WhatsApp QR code?

Download the PNG and print it large enough to scan comfortably. Keep a white margin around the code and test the printed version with a phone camera from the distance people will scan it. Good places are business cards, flyers, shop windows, packaging and table cards.

Can I make a QR code for a WhatsApp group?
