Sponsored post price estimate

What a brand might pay you for one piece of sponsored content. An estimate built from published 2026 rate tables, not a quote.

Not sure? Calculate it first. Use the rate by followers.

Content type
Use your own rate per 1,000 followers

Replaces the published tables. A feed post or carousel uses your rate as is, a Reel is 0.85x to 2.5x of it and a story frame 0.2x to 0.75x. Leave blank to use the tables.

Views to money for sponsored content

Brands often price by views. Enter your average views per post and a rate per 1,000 views (CPM). This is what a brand might pay you, not what Instagram pays.

Presets are the typical influencer CPM ranges in Stan's 2026 rate guide. Change them to match your own deals.

What Instagram itself pays

Instagram's Help Center does not publish a rate per 1,000 views. Payouts come from specific programs, and the Help Center does not describe any of them as a fixed rate per view. What is published, checked on October 8, 2026:

  • Gifts on Reels. Viewers buy stars and send gifts. Instagram pays creators $0.01 USD for every star received. You need a professional account, to be 18+, at least 500 followers and to live in an eligible country.
  • Subscriptions. You set a monthly price for subscriber-only content. You need a professional account with at least 10,000 followers, to be 18+, and to live in an eligible country.
  • Bonuses. Invitation-only programs that Instagram tests for a limited time in some countries. There is no public sign-up, and Instagram says it will announce public eligibility if that changes. Check your professional dashboard for an invitation.

At $0.01 per star.

How to use the Instagram money calculator

  1. Step 1

    Enter followers and engagement

Add your follower count and, if you know it, your engagement rate. Engagement moves the range up or down for your account size.

  2. Step 2

Pick a niche and content type

Niches with higher advertiser demand, like finance and tech, price higher. Reels, feed posts, carousels and story frames each get their own range.

  3. Step 3

Read the range, not one number

The low end and high end come from two different published rate guides. Use your own rate per 1,000 followers if you already have one.

Where the numbers come from

The estimate comes from two 2026 rate guides: Afluencer (updated April 22, 2026) and Stan. Both publish a price range per follower tier. The top of each tier equals the bottom of the next, so the calculator reads them as points on one curve and draws a line between them. The lower of the two sources sets the low end of your range and the higher sets the high end. They disagree most for small accounts, which is why the range is wide there.

Price per piece of content at each follower count, by source
Price at1,00010,000100,000500,0001,000,000
Feed post, Afluencer$10$100$1,000$5,000$10,000
Feed post, Stan$50$200$1,500$5,000$10,000
Reel, Stan (Afluencer: 85% of a feed post)$100$500$3,000$10,000$25,000
Story frame, Afluencer$50$150$750$3,750$7,500
Story frame, Stan$25~$87$300$1,000$5,000

Values with a ~ are not published: they are the points on the line between two published prices. Carousels are priced like feed posts because neither source lists them separately. Below 1,000 followers the price scales down in proportion, and above 1 million it scales up in proportion.

The niche multiplier compares the typical CPM range for a niche in Stan's table with the average of the eight niches listed. Engagement is compared with the typical band for your follower count (see the engagement rate calculator). Stan says high engagement can justify rates 20% to 50% above the tier average, so that is the lift used. For low engagement Stan only says offers get discounted, so the 10% to 30% cut is our own assumption.

Brand deals and Instagram payouts are different things

Most of the money in the first calculator comes from brands, not from Instagram. A brand pays you a fee for a post, Reel or story, and the fee depends on your audience, your niche and what the brand gets to do with the content.

Instagram's own programs are smaller and more conditional. Gifts pay $0.01 per star, Subscriptions need 10,000 followers, and bonuses are by invitation. We checked the Instagram Help Center on October 8, 2026, and none of these pages states a rate per view. For how creators describe their per-view results, read our guide, how much Instagram pays per 1,000 Reels views.

Turn the views you already get into leads

Views only turn into money when someone takes a next step. A simple way to give them one is to ask viewers to comment a keyword and send them your offer, booking page or link by DM, so the people who are interested start a conversation with you.

Get more from the views you already have

When someone comments a keyword on your post or Reel, FlowGent can send them a DM with your link, offer or booking page through the official Instagram API. Starter is $19 a month for comment-to-DM and keyword flows, with a 7-day free trial.

Frequently asked questions about Instagram earnings

How much does Instagram pay for 1,000 views?

Instagram does not publish a rate per 1,000 views. Its Help Center describes Gifts on Reels ($0.01 per star received), Subscriptions that you price yourself, and invitation-only bonus programs that run for a limited time. Brands that sponsor your content often price by views instead, at roughly $10 to $30 per 1,000 views in broad niches and $30 to $80 in high-value ones, according to Stan's 2026 rate guide. Our Reels monetization guide covers the creator-reported ranges.

How many followers do I need to make $1,000 a month on Instagram?

It depends on the route. Through Gifts, $1,000 is 100,000 stars received in a month, and you need 500 followers to enable them. Through sponsored posts, this calculator estimates about $250 to $450 for a feed post at 25,000 followers, so roughly two to four sponsored posts a month. Both are estimates, not promises.

How much does 1 million followers on Instagram pay?

For sponsored content the two rate guides behind this calculator put a feed post from an account with 1 million followers at about $10,000 and a Reel between roughly $8,500 and $25,000, before niche and engagement adjustments. Instagram's own programs are not tied to follower count in that way.

How much is an account with 10,000 followers worth?

The calculator estimates about $100 to $200 for a feed post and $85 to $500 for a Reel at 10,000 followers in a general niche. A high engagement rate or a high-value niche such as finance or tech can move that up, and low engagement can move it down.

Can I get paid by Instagram with 500 followers?

Gifts on Reels is the one program with a 500 follower minimum. You also need a professional account, to be 18 or older, to follow Instagram's monetization policies, to live in an eligible country and to set up a payout account. Subscriptions need 10,000 followers, and bonuses are invitation only.

How accurate is an Instagram money calculator?

Treat it as a starting point. Published rate guides disagree with each other, especially for small accounts, and real deals depend on audience location, usage rights, exclusivity and how many deliverables are included. That is why this calculator shows a range and lists every number it uses.
